The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Midwifery, at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a full-time, fixed-term faculty appointment.  The successful candidate must be a Certified Nurse Midwife, with at least 3 years' experience in obstetrical and well-woman gynecological healthcare preferred.  A Master’s degree and bi-lingual competence in Spanish are highly desirable. Salary will be commensurate with experience.  Responsibilities will include providing full-range obstetrical and well-women gynecological health care in an established midwifery clinical practice which provides 24/7 call and in-hospital deliveries.  Additional responsibilities will include performing labor and delivery triage, educating health care professional students, developing women's ambulatory service programs and participating in departmental activities.
